Mortlach Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured for 15 years primarily in sherry-seasoned casks and finished in American Oak ex-bourbon casks. Its attractive metallic gold canister packaging draws painting of the Three-Eyed Raven on the bottle and the outer canister gives it a stunning look and appeal.

The Mortlach Distillery is built on the site of a historic battle and its production process included distillation the liquid exactly 2.81 times is a complex process as unique as the Three-Eyed Raven character.
Mortlach Single Malt Scotch Whisky produce the fresh fruit characters of green apple and green grape, Vanilla, Spice. The aromas is softer and oaky with chocolate notes more pronounced, it is good to go neat, on the rocks or by adding a little water which develops the fresh fruit characters.

Glenmorangie is one of my favourite single malt Scottish whiskies from the burgh of Tain in Scotland and this is one of my new favourite 18 year old scotches. I get lots of creamed peaches on the nose with deep toffee, caramel and fruity sweetness. Certainly not a cheap whisky by any means but well worth it in my opinion. The box it comes in makes for a wonderful gift too. It is honeyed gold in colour with rich dried fruits and floral aromas. Taste is balanced with honey, malts and floral fragrance. Dates and fig emerged in the background with woody and smoky flavour.
Glenmorangie 18 years is named after with the maturation process of 15 years taking place in American White Oak Bourbon Cask followed by 30% of the fluid transferred in Oloroso sherry cask to complete entire 18 years as the name suggested, while the left 70% resting in the American White Oak Bourbon Cask. Once the 18 years passed in total. Entire fluid reunited and bottled ready to sip for the whisky lovers
After the process is complete. The prestigious thick, creamy and fruity single malt presented in a wonderfully value for money. The box it comes in makes for a wonderful gift too.
